This week was meant to be the actual week for presenting our work to the class, the aims of this is to get opinions from our peers about our presentation. This would enable us to go back and make any changes in our work.
However after mention in the previous week, we had decided as a group to change the images that we had been using, as we had began to upload our work onto the Knights Park Mac Suit, the system (Adobe Flash) had began to act up. We started by importing each image individually onto the stage however after importing a series of images the Flash player would not recognize some of the images we were trying to import. The software would suspect a corruption and automatically turn off.
Then we had noticed the mac had started to slow down and freeze, leading us to restart the mac again and it left us with missing work, which we had to start again. This kept on occurring three or four times eventually we had to ask for help from the technician to assist us with the software. He tried ways to upload the pictures into the timeline. He then tried to convert some of the images into photoshop by saving it as a photoshop file, but even he experienced difficulty, he eventually realized how temperamental Adobe flash is and could not help us.
This caused a great deal of stress and frustration within the group and even myself, as we had dedicated time and effort to the project, for us to loose all our presentation work so close to the deadline was a disappointment for us. This unfortunately lead to us not being able to present our project to the rest of the class as we had lost the materials for it because of the corrupted software at Knights Park.
