Week 4- Introduction to Flash MX vector animation package

In Week four we had an intense workshop focusing on how to use Adobe Flash Player. Developing new skills on importing digital images, understanding and organizing the library pallet. Flash is a multimedia platform designed to add animations, video and designs for moving webpages.

Flash is designed to manipulate vector graphs providing animation of text, drawings, and still images. The basic reasons for Adobe Flash is to import images, create moving animations, also still and moving text. The software enabled me to change colours, size and formation of texts.

All this information at the time was in my opinion rather intense and required full attention, however with the help from my tutor we were able to move on quickly absorbing as much information as possible.

Group Update: Finalising our idea of the group presentation, using the theme of domestic violence. Later producing a video using Adobe Flash Player. We continued to research on the effect ways domestic violence can be displayed to the public especially for women.
